Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, an adviser of the interim government, has said that the Aynaghars will be documented internationally to brand the Awami League as a fascist force and an enemy of the people.
The atrocities sponsored by the defeated Awami League government during the July-August mass upsurge have already been internationally recognised, Asif, sports adviser of the interim government, said.
Similarly, the Aynaghars will be recognised globally so that the fascist force is identified as the enemy of the people, he said while addressing a function at Dhaka University on Thursday.
The entire world has witnessed the Aynaghars, secret torture cells of the ousted Awami League government, but the fascist force shamelessly denying the responsibility, he said.
Claiming that the young generation has been playing a vital role all the time from the very beginning of the recent mass upsurge, he said Bangladesh will not be derailed if the youth remain watchful.
Earlier on Wednesday, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus accused the defeated autocratic Awami League regime of fostering an era of ignorance (Jahiliya) in the country to suppress dissenting voices.
The chief adviser made the allegation after visiting three spots of Aynaghar in Dhaka that were previously used as torture cells and secret prisons.
Besides, while addressing a press conference, Shafiqul Alam, press secretary of the chief adviser said there are 700 to 800 Aynaghars across the country and all those would be unearthed.
