Man dies after being attacked by elephant

A Correspondent:

Chattogram: A man succumbed to injuries sustained after an elephant “attacked” him on Tuesday morn-ing at Purba Natmura village in Chattogram’s Banskhali upazila.
Sixty-five-year-old Abul Kalam, died around 11:40 am while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medi-cal College Hospital (CMCH).
A wild elephant attacked Abul near a graveyard in the village, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rescued and taken to the hospital around 9:20 am, said CMCH police outpost ASI Nurul Alam Asheq.
