The Information Commission Bangladesh (ICB) yesterday warned Imtiaz Mamun, residential engineer of Isharganj Power Development Board, Mymensingh, of delaying in providing information in two re-quests to obtain information under the Right to Information Act, 2009.
The Commission also directed the Public Administration Secretary to take necessary action against Fau-zia Nasreen, former Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh, for obstruct-ing the flow of information.
Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Abdul Malek, Information Commissioners Shahidul Alam Jhinuk and Masuda Bhatti issued the order as per the Right to Information Act after holding hearing on the matters, said a press release here.
The commission yesterday held hearing on 11 complaints and settled nine of them.
