Land service updated server launched!
Too hassle as services halt for over month

As there is no land service for over a month in land offices for alleged upgrading of server, people all over have facing tremendous sufferings and the government is losing huge revenue earnings.
Although a press release of the Land Ministry said, ‘the software of the land ministry has been up-dated to make online land management hassle free and land services people friendly’.
The release yesterday said the software has been updated to improve land service online and pro-vide integrated services to the people. But people are not getting any service for over a month.
Online services of the ministry remained suspended from November 26 to December 1, 2024 for updating the software.
The new software will make easy the land mutation, registration, tax collection, khatian recording and other services.
The ministry’s revised website www.land.gov.bd has been launched on December 1, 2024.
All data of relating to land has been transferred to the national server of the Bangladesh Computer Council, the press releases said.
Senior Public Relations Officer of the ministry Mohammad Gias Uddin said that the data server center has been linked with high-speed internet to allow people getting fast and uninterrupted ser-vices.
