Staff Reporter:
The appointment, promotion and transfer of senior officials particularly in police, administration and foreign cadres, will be done based on the recommendations of the government-formed high-powered advisory committees.
The interim government has already formed three separate committees, comprising members of the advisory council to deal with the issue.
The public administration ministry issued three separate notifications in this regard on Thursday.
From now on, the authorities concerned must adhere to the committee’s decisions in appointing, promoting or transferring officials in the police, administration and foreign services.
The appointments, promotions and transfers were previously carried out based on the internal decisions of the respective ministries.
But the government has taken the decision to prevent transfer trading in top posts of the three ministries, according a source.
