President Mohammed Shahabuddin yesterday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In a condolence message sent to Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of State of Ku-wait, Bangladesh President said his contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Bang-ladesh and Kuwait as well as the development of the Islamic world will be remembered for long.
The head of state wished peace, development and progress of the people of Kuwait and hoped that the cooperation between the two countries would be strengthened in the days to come.
President Shahabuddin prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sym-pathy to the bereaved family and the people of the country.
