Chuadanga records lowest temp

Chuadanga: The lowest temperature of 10.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chuadanga district on Fri-day morning.
According to the Met office bulletin,”Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning.”
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the bulletin.
Rakibul Hasan, in-charge of Chuadanga Weather Observatory Centre, said they have recorded 10.6 de-grees Celsius at 9 am on Friday, which is the lowest temperature in the country.
The situation will continue for the next few days, he added.
The shivering cold has disrupted the day-to-day lives of people, especially the daily wage earners in the district.
People are being forced to remain indoors due to the cold.
