Bus torched, 3 vehicles vandalized in Feni

A Correspondent:

Feni: A bus was set on fire and three autorickshaws vandalised in different parts of Feni district town ahead of dawn-to-dusk hartal enforced by BNP.
Senior Station officer of Feni Fire Service and Civil Defense, Abdul Majid, said the miscreants set the stationary bus on fire on Dhaka-Cumilla highway at Kathbailla in Feni municipality at 9 pm on Monday.
However, no casualty was reported.
Besides, a daylong hartal, enforced by the BNP was observed in the district on Tuesday.
BNP announced the hartal on Monday demanding resignation of the government, holding elections un-der caretaker government and immediate release of its leaders and activists of BNP including BNP lead-er Rafiqul Alam.
The hartal supporters also brought out a procession in different parts of the district town on Tuesday.
