1,737 arrested in Dhaka in 12 days

As many as 1,737 people were arrested in the past 12 days since 28 October in Dhaka in connection with violence.

Of the arrestees, 41 were apprehended at places in the capital on Wednesday, according to the data of the police headquarters.

Some 119 cases related to violence were filed with different police stations in Dhaka, the data showed.
