AL to distribute Eid gifts today

Bangladesh Awami League will distribute Eid gifts among the underprivileged people in the capital to-day, on the occasion of the Eid-ul Fitr.
The Eid gifts will be distributed at 3pm at AL central office in the city’s Bangabandhu Avenue, under the initiative of the AL’s subcommittee on relief and social welfare affairs.
AL general secretary and also Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Qauder will be present at the function as the chief guest, said an AL release on Monday.
Besides, AL joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, its health and population affairs secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana and deputy publicity and publication secretary Syed Abdul Awal Shamim will be pre-sent as the special guests in the event to be presided over by its relief and social welfare affairs secretary Aminul Islam.
