Narayanganj: A 16-year-old Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was stabbed to death alleged-ly by his rivals over love affairs in Narayanganj’s Rupganj upazila on Saturday.
The deceased identified as Mehedhi Hasan Sajeeb was the SSC examinee from Rupganj’s Bhulta High School and College this year and son of Shafiqul Islam of Chapainawabganj district. He used to live with his family in a rented house at Balaikha village under the upazila.
The victim had love affairs with one of the female classmates. Some local teenagers came to know about the matter and asked him to refrain from continuing the relationship.
