Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Gopal-gonj, Kishoreganj, Moulavibazar, Jashore, Kushtia and Chuadanga and it may continue, said a Bangla-desh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog at places else-where over the country during midnight to morning,” said the bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 27.8 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda while yester-day’s minimum temperature 7.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5:41 pm yesterday and rises at 6:42 am today in the capital.
