Ayesha Siddiqua passes away

Ayesha Siddiqua, former librarian of Dhaka University, died of kidney complications last night at her Mirpur residence at the age of 83, family sources said.
Ayesha Siddiqua was the wife of renowned journalist late Hasanuzzaman Khan, former managing editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
She served for a long time as the librarian of the Fine Arts Institute of Dhaka University.
She left behind two sons and a daughter to mourn her death.
Ayesha was buried yesterday at Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard in Mirpur after her namaz-e-janaza.
Relatives, well-wishers and friends have been requested to pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
