PeopleNTech to train-up DoICT staff on freelancing

Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DoICT) will conduct freelancing training to its employees in collaboration with PeopleNTech Institute of Information Technology.

ICT Division Secretary Shamsul Arefin inaugurated the freelancing programme as chief guest at ICT Tower in Agargaon of the capital on Thursday, said a press release.

On the occasion, PeopleNTech promised to provide freelancing training to the employees and their family members in various courses for the convenience of DoICT employees.

Secretary Samsul Arefin praised the training programme of PeopleNTech. He expects that such activities of PeopleNTech will continue in the future with DoICT.

With DoICT director general Mostafa Kamal in chair, deputy secretary Monir Hossain, deputy director Nilufa Yasmin, network engineer Didarul Kadir, programmer Harun Or Rashid were also present at the meeting.

PeopleNTech Institute of IT vice-president Mashrul Hossain Khan Leon, chief operating officer Abdul Hamid, human resource manager Fatema Tuj Johora, project manager Selim Reza were also present.

To this end, PeopleTech Institute of IT signed a memorandum of understanding with DoICT earlier in October last year.

Since its inception in 2005, PeopleNTech has trained up thousands of students on 60 courses under its institute on information technology including software testing, database, business analysts and professional freelancing.
