Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has declared a fresh 48-hour nationwide blockade from Sunday.
At a press briefing on Thursday afternoon, Senior Joint Secretary of the party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi came up with the announcement of the 7th round of blockade of roads, rail lines, and waterways to press home the party’s one-point demand.
The blockade will begin from 6am Sunday (26 November) and continue till 6am on Tuesday (28 November), Rizvi said.
The BNP leader made the announcement of the blockade just hours before the conclusion of a two-day nationwide blockade on Thursday.
