The six patients arrived at Sundarganj Upazila Health Complex on Saturday morning and received vaccines, said Dr. Farhana, a medical officer at the health complex.
Earlier on Friday, 26 more people received rabies vaccines, she said.
Dr. Farhana said all 32 victims, including women and children, had received rabies vaccines and there was no shortage of vaccines.
Dr. Farhana also said a three-member medical team visited the affected area to investigate the cause of the dog’s sudden aggressive behavior.
Panic spread in the area on Friday afternoon after a stray dog went on a rampage in Purba Belka and neighbouring villages, attacking several people.
Enraged locals later beat the dog to death.
Officials from the Department of Livestock Services subsequently collected the dog’s head and sent it for laboratory testing to determine the cause of its unusual behaviour.
