Bangladesh Meteorolog-ical Department (BMD) yesterday forecasted light to moderate rain or thun-dershowers in different parts of the country to-day.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by tempo-rary gusty wind are like-ly to occur at a few plac-es over Rangpur, My-mensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divi-sions,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged while night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius in Koyra, while yesterday’s lowest temperature was recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
The sun will set at 5:40 pm today and rises to-morrow at 5:53 am in Dhaka.
