Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to oc-cur at many places over Chattogram & Barishal divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, & Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin yesterday.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Ramgati, while yes-terday’s minimum temperature was 23.8 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5:58 pm yesterday and rises at 5:47 am today in Dhaka.
