Dengue claims 2 more lives in 24 hours

A Correspondent:

Two people died of dengue and 1,232 new patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the 24 hours until 8:00am on Saturday.
With the latest fatality, the dengue death toll has risen to 178 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Two of the deaths were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation, it said.
Currently, 4,131 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
Since January 1 this year, a total of 60,379 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them, 56,070 have recovered.
