Country may experience rain or thundershowers today.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country,” a bulletin of Bangladesh Mete-orological Department (BMD) said.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Madaripurand Moulvibazar and it may abate from some places, it said.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s highest temperature was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday in Rajshahi and the lowest temperature was recorded in Ishwardi upazila in Pabna at 19.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
