WB official page dominated by eulogy to PM Hasina, her smiling pics with its President, VP

Mercy Tembon, Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the World Bank Group, has tweeted her smiling photo with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a gesture of highlighting Bangladesh’s socioeconomic success under her apt leadership.

“Celebrating 50 years of an impactful partnership between the World Bank Group and Bangladesh in the august presence of Honorable PM Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh is truly one of the world’s greatest development success stories with many good examples that can be emulated widely,” the tweet added.

In a Meanwhile, World Bank President David Robert Malpass made two tweets showcasing his picture with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He made the tweets focusing on celebration of the 50th anniversary of World Bank Group’s partnership with Bangladesh.

“Pleased to celebrate 50th anniversary of @WorldBank Group’s partnership with Bangladesh, with PM Hasina. Many countries can learn from Bangladesh’s innovative approaches to reducing poverty, empowering women, and adapting to climate change,” he said.

In second tweet, he mentioned “Good lunch meeting with PM Hasina & cabinet members to mark 50-year partnership.”

He also annexed a press release of $2.25b loan deal with Bangladesh.
