The Information Commission Bangladesh (ICB) has ordered to take departmental action against the di-rector of Rangpur Medical Collage for deliberately delaying the process to provide information.
The ICB also ordered to inform the matter to Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and Secretary of Health Services Division.
Meanwhile, the commission has warned a director of Rangpur Divisional Family Planning Office for deliberately disrupting the process to provide the information. It also ordered to inform the matter to Director General of Family Planning Directorate and the Secretary of Medical Education and Family Welfare Division.
The commission has warned the General Manager of Meghna Petroleum Limited, Chattogram for delib-erately not providing information.
Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Dr Abdul Malek and Information Commissioners Shahidul Alam Jhinuk and Masuda Bhatti issued the order as per Right to Information Act after holding hearing on the matters, said a press release here yesterday.
Yesterday, a total of 10 complaints were placed to the ICB for hearing and were disposed of according-ly.
