Two dead as speeding bike goes under bus

Rajshahi: Two people were dead when a motorbike was pinned under a bus on Puthia-Taherpur road in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Mahabbat Ali, 25, son of Akkas Ali, and Abu Syed, 22, son of Jeker Ali of the upazila.
The accident occurred around 10:30 am when the speeding motorbike carrying the two went under a bus of ‘MP Safari’ as the biker lost control, leaving both dead on the spot, said Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Puthia Police Station.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to the local hospital morgue for autopsy.
