Staff Reporter:

Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) has extended their heartfelt congratulations and felicitations to Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on securing the fourth consecutive man-date through the victory in the 12th parliamentary elections.
AKDN Resident Diplomatic Representative to Bangladesh Munir M. Merali met PM Hasina at Gonobha-ban on Monday and congratulated her.
“On this significant occasion, we convey our best wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity for all the peoples of Bangladesh,” he said.
During their brief discussion, Merali said he had the privilege of updating the prime minister on the on-going activities of the Network in the country, particularly highlighting the establishment of the Aga Khan Academy in Dhaka.
The Academy project and its associated initiatives aim to significantly enhance the quality of education and teaching standards across Bangladesh, he said.
“On behalf of our agencies and the dedicated staff working in the country, we express our deepest grati-tude to all governmental agencies for their consistent support and facilitation extended to the Network,” Merali said.
“We take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Min-istry of Foreign Affairs for their continuous support and facilitation. Additionally, we extend our heart-felt gratitude for this exceptional invitation,” he added.
