A Correspondent:

Bagerhat: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) early Sunday recovered 13 crude bombs, four fire-arms and bullets from Town Nawapara in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district.
However, no one was arrested in this connection.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-6 conducted a drive in the area and recovered the bombs, three one-shooter guns, one foreign made pistol and five bullets from near a betel-leaf field in an abandoned condition at the dead of night, said Director of Rab-6 Khulna, Lieutenant Colonel Md Firoj Kabir.
The criminals might have managed to flee the scene sensing the presence of the elite force, he said.
Primarily it is suspected that the crude bombs were gathered here to carry out sabotage activities, he added.
