The Awami League (AL) will bring out a Bijoy Rally (victory rally) in the capital today on the occasion of the Victory Day. The colorful procession will be brought out from the premises of Institution of En-gineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and it will end after reaching Bangabandhu Bhaban at Dhanmondi-32 here.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader will inaugurate the victory procession.
He urged AL leaders and workers and people from all works of life to join the procession.
Quader said the Awami League units and its affiliated bodies will bring out victory procession across the country in line with the central AL’s program.
The AL has rescheduled its Bijoy Rally today (Tuesday) instead of December 18 as Bangladesh observed a one-day state mourning yesterday at the death of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, an AL press release said.
