Speakers at a roundtable yesterday laid emphasis on political stability to continue the development spree in the country.
“Political stability is essential to sustain the socio-development spree in the country,” he told at the roundtable titled ‘Independence, sovereignty and political responsibility,’ at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh here, a press release said.
Sammilita Nagorik Samaj organized the roundtable with its president Dr. Kazi Khaliquzzaman Ahmad in the chair.
They said sovereignty of the country will be at risk, if any political party depends on foreign force for coming to power.
The speakers urged the pro-liberation forces to resist intervention of any foreign country in the country’s internal affairs to protect sovereignty in the country.
