Hearing on Fakhrul’s bail plea Wed

A Dhaka court yesterday deferred till November 22 the hearing on a plea filed by BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir for bail in a case lodged over attack on the official residence of Chief Justice (CJ) during BNP’s grand rally in the city’s Nayapaltan area on October 28.
Yesterday was fixed for holding hearing on the plea, but the additional public prosecutor Tapos Kumar Paul pleaded to reset the date. Allowing the prosecution plea, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court’s acting judge Foysal Atiq Bin Kader adjourned the hearing till November 22.
