Four BNP leaders held

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested four BNP’s front leaders including the president of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal from city’s Jatrabari area here last night in connection with violence triggered from October 28 rally in the city.
The arrestees were identified as president of ward no 63 of Jatiyatabad Sramik Dal M Abu Bakkar, convenor of ward no 62 Jatiyatabdi Jubo Dal M Ali Akbar, member secretary of Jatiyatabdi Sramik Dal member secretary M Ziaul Hasan and convenor of ward no 48 of Jatiyatandi Sramik Dal M Sukkur Ali.
“The BNP-Jammat leaders set on fire to some buses and vandalized at different modes of transports including bus, truck, CNG, Leguna and ambulances across the country including the capital in the name of blockade since the rally on October 28 demanding for caretaker government and releasing their detained leaders”, said Aminul Islam, deputy director, RAB-10.
