President mourns death of JnU VC

President Mohammed Shahabuddin yesterday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jag-annath University (JnU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Imdadul Hoque.
In a condolence message, the Head of State prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Dr Imdadul Hoque, who had been suffering from cancer, breathed his last in the early hours of Satur-day.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
