JSD brings out rally against blockade

Jatiya Samajtantric Dal (JSD) yesterday brought out protest procession and rally against the BNP-Jamaat`s 24-hour blockade across the country in front of Jasod office in city`s Bangabandhu Ave-nue.
The procession paraded different city streets.
Vice-president of Jasod central committee valiant freedom fighter Shofi Uddin Mollah presided over the rally and its office secretary Sazzad Hossain conducted it while Joint general secretaries Sowkat Rayhan, Rokonuzzaman Rokon, Naimul Ahsan Juel and Mohammad Mohosin, Jatiya Sramik Jote -Bangladesh
President Saifuzzaman Badsha, among others, spoke in the rally.
The leaders said the BNP-Jamaat wants to foil the upcoming general election in the name of movement in the country. They said the next general election will be held as per country`s consti-tution within the stipulated time.
They urged the Election Commission (EC) to hold next parliamentary polls in time.
