Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in different parts of the country today, said the Bangla-desh Meteorological Department (BMD).
According to a Met Office bulletin yesterday, light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram division; at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions.”
Besides, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may also occur over Chattogram division, it said.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged, while night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius in Netrokona, while the lowest temperature yesterday was 24.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat.
The sun sets at 6:02 pm today and rises at 5:45 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
