The Prime Minister said this while replying to a question from Chapainawabganj-3 lawmaker Md Nurul Islam during the question-answer session in parliament this afternoon with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram in the chair. The first half-hour of the session was allocated for the Prime Minister’s question-answer session.

The Prime Minister said the Government Performance Monitoring System (GPMS) has also been introduced for more effective monitoring and evaluation of government performance, while guide-lines on the government performance monitoring system for the fiscal year 2026-27 have been is-sued.
He said online meetings are held every month with the Cabinet Division and different ministries and divisions to make the activities of the field administration more transparent and accountable.
