Dengue situation
3 more die, 994 attacked in 24 hours

Staff Reporter:

Three more people died of dengue and 994 new patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours until 8:00am on Monday.
With the latest fatalities, the dengue death toll has risen to 85 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The new deaths were reported in Dhaka North and South city Corporations.
During the reporting period, 862 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Since January 1 this year, a total of 29,923 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them, 27,758 have been discharged, while 2,080 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
