Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman and Bhola-1 MP Barrister Andaleeve Rahman made In-formation and Broadcasting Ministry.
On Friday (August 21) night, the Cabinet Division issued a notification allocating and redistrib-uting the portfolios of the new ministers.
Earlier, the new President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir administered the oath to Andaleeve Rah-man at Bangabhaban on Friday evening.
Later, he was given the responsibility of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry through a Cab-inet Division’s notification.
Andaleeve Rahman took the oath as a minister for the first time.
He entered politics in 2000 with his father, Naziur Rahman Manzur’s hands, and has been serving as the chairman of Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) since his father’s death in 2008.
Andaleeve was elected as a member of parliament from Bhola-1 constituency in the 9th national elections in 2008 and later in the 2026.
