Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir yesterday urged Lithuania to recruit more skilled workers from the country and establish a visa centre in Dhaka to facilitate visa pro-cessing for Bangladeshi citizens.
He made the call when Lithuania’s non-resident Ambassador to Bangladesh Diana Mickeviciene paid a courtesy call on him at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday, said a foreign ministry’s press release here.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations, expansion of trade and investment, cooperation in education and information technology, exchange of skilled human resources and establishment of a Lithuanian visa centre in Dhaka.
