Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet and Chatto-gram divisions today.
“Due to monsoon depression over Southwestern part of Bangladesh-West Bengal Coast and ad-joining Northwest Bay, heavy (44 – 88mm/ 24hours) to very heavy (> 88mm/24hours) rainfall
is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing from 08 am yesterday,” said a special bulletin of Met office.
Due to heavy to very heavy rainfall temporary water logging may occur at places over these re-gions and landslides may also occur at places over hilly regions of Chattogram division.
