3 more die of Dengue in 24 hours

Staff Reporter:

Three people died of dengue and 805 new patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the 24 hours until 8:00am on Sunday.
With the latest fatalities, the dengue death toll has risen to 70 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The new deaths were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
During the reporting period, 701 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Since January 1 this year, a total of 23,978 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them, 22,159 have recovered and been discharged, while 1,749 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
