South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Kim Ji-Joon yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser Brig Gen (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam at the Armed Forces Division (AFD) head-quarters in Dhaka Cantonment.
During the meeting, the defence adviser and the ambassador exchanged greetings and recalled the longstanding friendly and excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the Republic of Korea, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release issued this afternoon.
The two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation to support the ongoing modernization and capabil-ity enhancement of Bangladesh Armed Forces.
