Online news portal Daily Bangla Post (dailybanglapost.com) has received the registration from the gov-ernment, marking a significant milestone in its journey as a digital news platform.
The Press Information Department (PID) issued the registration certificate to the portal yesterday after completing the required formalities.
Earlier, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting recommended the portal for registration following verification by the relevant government agencies.
The certificate was issued after the prescribed government fee was deposited, according to a press re-lease.
Bangla Post is financed by Mehnoor Properties Limited (MPL), a concern of Mehnoor Group.
