Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday
expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Vice President Zakir
Hossain Nannu.
In a condolence message, Mirza Fakhrul, also the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and
Co-operatives (LGRD), said Nannu's death will create a void in the party due to the lack of a skilled
organiser.
"I extend my deep sympathy to the bereaved family members of Zakir Hossain Nannu. I pray to the
Almighty that He grants him Jannah and bestows patience upon the grieving family," he said.
Zakir Hossain Nannu passed away early yesterday due to a cardiac arrest at the United Hospital in the
city.
