Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman returned to the country on Friday after wrapping up his tours to Czech Republic and Slovakia, said the ISPR in a press release.
During the tours, Waker met and exchanged views with high-ranking officials in the defence and military sectors of the two European countries with a view to strengthening bilateral defence ties and cooperation.
The army chief also visited a variety of military institutions and defence industrial units in the two countries.
On 28 June, the army chief left Dhaka to embark on the tour.
