The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in Sylhet and Cumilla districts.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.
Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Md. Reza Hasan has been transferred to Sylhet as the new DC.
Meanwhile, Rosy Akter, deputy secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been ap-pointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Cumilla.
On June 21, the government withdrew Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Sarwoer Alam and attached him to the Ministry of Public Administration.
