Prime Minister Tarique Rahman would join a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the “Great Hall of the People” in Beijing this morningy.
The meeting would begin at 10am local time (8:30am Dhaka time), said the PM’s Adviser and Spokesperson Mahdi Amin on Thursday.
PM Tarique Rahman would naturally raise issues concerning Bangladesh’s interests during the meeting with Xi Jinping, Mahdi Amin said.
The PM, with Allah’s blessing, would also secure positive outcomes in the talks for further consolidating the development and progress of Bangladeshi people, Mahdi Amin added.
As a result of the China tour, the multidimensional ties between Bangladesh and China would deepen further, Mahdi Amin said.
Bilateral engagements would reach new heights in every aspect including strategic cooperation, people-to-people ties, development projects, trade, investment and job creation, noted the PM’s adviser.
