BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Ruhul Kabir Rizvi yes-terday said that attempts to rise of fascism are no longer possible in the country.
“The people and democratic forces remain united…Any intimidation or evil activity of fascism must be resisted,” he added.
Rizvi made the remarks while responding a media query after a procession organized by BNP and its associated bodies in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan yesterday.
The procession started from the party’s central office in Naya Paltan, went around the Nightingale inter-section, and concluded with brief speeches in front of Naya Paltan party office.
Rizvi said BNP and its associated bodies jointly organized the procession to “resist any attempt of fas-cists to raise their head”.
BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam, former Member Secretary of the Jatiyatabadi Mat-syajeebi Dal Abdul Rahim, along with leaders from various levels of BNP and its associated bodies took part in the procession.
