SSC results to be published on 20 July: Education Minister

Staff Reporter:

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Thursday said the government will publish the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results on 20 July, adding that this year’s examinations concluded without any incidents of question paper leaks.

He made the announcement while briefing reporters on the upcoming Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament.

“The SSC examinations ended without any question paper leak. We will publish the results within two months, on 20 July,” the minister said.

At the same programme, Prime Minister’s Education Adviser Mahdi Amin said the government plans to reform the education system to reduce disparities between urban and rural education.

He said the government also wants to place greater emphasis on sports and creative learning alongside formal academic education.

Mahdi Amin added that the government will make sports and cultural education compulsory at the primary level to promote the overall development of students.

He also announced that the Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament will take place at Army Stadium on 20 June.

According to the adviser, Prime Minister Tarek Rahman will attend the event.
