Sudanese Prime Minister Dr Kamil Idris yesterday paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Sha-habuddin, now staying in London, United Kingdom.
“The informal meeting was held at the lobby of Hotel Hilton in London this morning,” a source of the Bangabhaban Press Wing quoted President’s Personal Secretary (PS) Md Didarul Alam as saying this evening.
During the meeting, the Sudanese premier enquired about the President’s health condition and wished his speedy recovery.
Held in a very cordial atmosphere, Dr Idris prayed to Almighty Allah for the overall wellbeing of the people of Bangladesh as well as the good health of the President of Bangladesh.
Recalling the long-standing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Sudan, President Shahabuddin wished peace, welfare and prosperity for the people of Sudan.
