PM for action over coarse rice price hike

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed the concerned ministries and authorities to take immediate action against the price hike of coarse rice- a staple food for marginal people.
“Yesterday, when news of an increase in the retail price of coarse rice- a staple food for marginal peo-ple- came to the attention of Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, he directed the relevant minis-tries and authorities to take quick action,” PM’s press wing said yesterday.
He said that the positive impact of the instruction was observed in the market.
