Holy Shab-e-Barat observing tonight

The holy Shab-e-Barat, the night of fortune, will be observed throughout the country tonight with due religious fervor and devotion.
On this occasion, Islamic Foundation has chalked out programs at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka City.
The foundation will hold a waz (religious sermons), doa-mehfil, special prayers, recitation from the Ho-ly Quran and Hamd-Naat at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the evening.
Besides, religious sermons centering the Shab-e-Barat will be delivered at most of the mosques across the country after Maghrib prayers alongside holding special munajat after Isha prayers.
Special namaj (nafal salats) and doa seeking divine blessings for the world and mankind will be offered by the Muslim devotees throughout the night all over.
On the occasion, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus yesterday issued a message greeting all Muslims of the country and elsewhere across the world.
On this night, a huge number of devotees visit the graveyards of their late father, mother, and nearer and dearer and will offer special doa and munajat seeking eternal peace of their departed souls.
People also distribute money, food and sweetmeat among the poor and destitute people.
