Staff Reporter:
The Ministry of Education has asked the Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Au-thority (NTRCA) to provide detailed information about 41,627 teachers recommended for appointment
in 2025 at different private educational institutions across the country.
An ‘urgent order’ in this regard, signed by Ministry’s Deputy Secretary Hoore Jannat, has also been is-sued to send this information to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of the Education Ministry on an urgent basis within the next seven working days, a release said yesterday.
These teachers were recommended for appointment in the Monthly Pay Order (MPO)-listed educational institutions through the sixth recruitment circular.
This initiative has been taken to ensure accurate statistics on how many of the recommended teachers have already joined the workplace and how many have not been able to be posted after joining, he said.
Besides, detailed information was sought on whether there are any administrative complications in join-ing and how many teachers have not yet been enrolled in the MPO.
According to the ministry sources, the process of collecting this information has started followed by an internal meeting with the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division in the chair on Jan-uary 7.
It was asked to send information to the ministry through a specific form including name, registration number of the recommended teacher, name of the recommended educational institution, the date of join-ing, the specific reason and comments (if he or she is not enrolled in the MPO).
